SOUL2SOUL IN RALEIGH PNC AMAZING

For perspective, we were 6th row, Signature VIP package next to stage. So sound was great, musicians were amazing, Faith and Tim had a 3 day break and were energetic. Powerful all the way around. Would see them again. Can't speak for other seating locations and what they heard. Don't expect them to sing all their hits. Hit up Big Ed for breakfast, another treat.

TALENT OBSCURED

Raleigh June 22,2018, Turn the bass down! Drowned out by the lower frequencies the 10 piece (?) band came thru muddy. Even the vocals were only slightly above this horrible din. This could have been a spectacular show if the musicianship were allowed to actually be in the mix and breathe correctly. Who was responsible for this? I think their loyal fans really enjoyed the show blah blah blah... but I was indeed horrified (as an amateur musician) that the sound engineer (s) were allowed to do this. This may have been on purpose to allow the bass dynamics to overwhelm and pulsate thru your body (only worst than one of those cars going down your block with the bass pumped to make the car shake) but really.... the bass player wearing headphones?...were they noise cancellation or his own mix? Like I said, great performers and a wonderful display of laser wizardry but in my estimation a terrible, terrible audio experience.

SOUL TO SOUL. FAITH HILL AND TIM MCGRAW

I totally agree with th reviewer that stated the sound was awful. Don’t know if Nassau Coliseum has horrendous sound but this was bad. You could hear Faith’s microphone crack and cut out. You would never know by the noisy drowning out of the two stars voices that they actually can sing. Their tour seems like a big operation so it is odd that the sound was so bad. I have seen Billy Joel and Adele at the Garden and did not have this problem. Saw Josh Groban at Jones Beach and sound was fine. Very disappointing to not be able to appreciate these two singers.

ABSOLUTELY DISAPPOINTED

I have seen Tim McGraw 9 times in concert and this past show was absolutely terrible. Seemed like he forgot the words to songs and seemed to have no energy. He used to dance and put on a great show but this time I think his wife stole the show. Everybody has bad days and maybe this was one of them for him. The soul 2 soul tour seemed more like a Faith Hill concert than a dual concert. Tim McGraw is my absolute favorite singer and I am still in awe of what a horrible show he put on.

GREAT TALENT KILLED BY HORRIBLE SOUND MIXING!!

We were greatly disappointed by the horrible sound mixing at this concert that made Tim and Faith's music barely recognizable. The bass and other band instruments were way too loud, giving it a very muddy/droning sound where you could barely hear the singing. It did improve some in the last half, but a veteran act like this should know how to optimize their sound based on the venue.. We were seated almost on the floor, so the poor sound quality was not because of upper level echoing. We had seen them perform before so we expected much better.

SADLY DISAPPOINTED

We were looking forward to this concert having seen McGraw by himself a few times and thoroughly enjoyed it. Wow, were we blown away by the sound system--horribly loud, making this experience leaving our heads throbbing. We even tried plugging our ears with balls of paper napkins to see if it would help but to no avail. During Faiths set, attendees were covering their ears and the crowd was restless. We left before her set was done and my earring is still affected this morning. In fairness to the artists, this is not the first time that we have experienced bad sound at Mohegan. In this day of incredible sound technicians, this poor quality is simply not acceptable.
