Rossini's farcical opera returns to North Carolina for the first time in over a decade. The first in the trilogy starring the mischievous Count Almavira and his wily servant Figaro as they take on the adventure of wooing the witty beauty Rosina. Right out from under the nose of Dr Bartolo! With devious disguises, meddlesome mishaps, the fate of the heart of this young girl is one thrilling and hilarious ride.
This delightful ensemble production from Francesca Zambello stars Luke Sutliff as Figaro, Lisa Marie Rogali as Count Almavira, Musa Ngqungwana as Don Basilio and Lisa Marie Rogali as Rosina. A must-see for fans of this 200-year-old masterpiece!
