Art rock goddess St. Vincent joins The Black Keys for the December dates of their massive 2014 US Tour. Her jagged, experimental rock should serve as a nice appetiser to the Keys' polished blues.

Real name Annie Clark, St. Vincent's latest eponymous release was met with the tidal wave of critical acclaim which greets every St Vincent album. Featuring the tracks Digital Witness and Birth in Reverse, it once again demonstrated she's one of the most innovative and eclectic artists that rock has to offer. Oh, and she can shred with the best of them.

The Black Keys are currently scaling heights of popularity that few, including themselves, thought possible five years ago. With Dangermouse at the production controls, this year's Turn Blue looks set to continue the ascendency begun by 2011's El Camino.

It's likely both of these groups records are going to be topping Best of the Year lists come December, so to have them touring together is one pretty sweet deal.
