Band Of Horses at Raleigh Memorial Auditorium

Why see Band Of Horses?

Band of Horses will be joined by City of Colour from Aug 29 - Sep 15 2024!

Led by Ben Bridwell, Band of Horses do anthemic, wistful American indie better than anyone. Drenched in reverb and glittering guitar tones, they trade in vulnerability while still playing songs bursting with hooks and fist-pumping choruses. 2016 saw the release of the fifth album Why Are You OK, the band's first studio album in four years, and one that was heralded as a return to form following Mirage Rock, which some critics viewed as leaning too heavily into radio-friendly territory.

They have put out several highly regarded albums over the years,  2022's Things Are Great being one that best represents their developed sound with its reflective lyrics and catchy orchestration.  Catch band of Horses live, and get ready to be swept away in the heady tide of tracks like 'The Funeral', 'Weed Party', 'Knock Knock' and many more, alongside loads of new cuts and old favorites.

City of Colour

Established by Canadian singer-songwriter Dallas Green, City and Colour wrapped up their 2024 tour in support of their 2023 album, The Love Still Held Me Near. A band well-known for their reflective and soulful sound that dabbles in folk, rock, and alternative music, City and Colour came to be in 2005, when Dallas Green, who had previously been the lead vocalist for the post-hardcore group Alexisonfire, started City and Colour as a solo endeavour. With time, the project evolved into a full-fledged band. Now the band are taking their moving and resonant music to fans all over the continent and will join Band of Horses!
